What an average day looks like at Puppy Love Pet Sitting:
We provide pet care services in the Wimberley area 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We primarily offer dog walking, pet sitting and feline enrichment visits. Our standard visit length is 30-minutes, but could be shorter or longer based on client needs. We schedule visits back-to-back, allowing you to complete them in a single shift. During the rare times a team member has only one scheduled visit, they will be compensated for a full hour.
Our team members typically work no more than one shift per day (mornings-7 a.m. to 11 a.m., mid-day-11 a.m. to 2 p.m., afternoon-2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and evening-5 p.m. to 9 p.m.), and no more than five days per week. All positions are part-time, and the level of busyness fluctuates depending on the time of the year. You may have some weeks where you work only a few hours, and some weeks where you work 20-hours.
Because we pride ourselves on delivering the same level of care pets receive when their owners are home, no two visits look exactly alike.
Some tasks that may be included in your visits are:
- Dog walking
- Letting dogs out in the yard for potty breaks
- Playing with dog
- Cleaning up pet accidents
- Refilling water
- Feeding
- Scooping litter boxes
- Administering medication
- Bringing in the mail and packages
- Watering plants
- Taking trash cans to the street, or brining them back from the street
- Rotating lights and blinds
